Plant, Vehicles and Transport Training Courses
Mobile plant, work vehicles and loads on the road put more people at risk than just the operator: the spotter, the person walking past the forklift, the scheduler who sets a driver's hours. These ten courses are written for them.
On site: forklift and powered mobile plant, spotters and exclusion zones, traffic management near roads, crane and rigging awareness for non-operators, machine guarding, and energy isolation and lockout/tagout. On the road: driver safety for work, load restraint, dangerous goods transport, and Chain of Responsibility under the Heavy Vehicle National Law for everyone in the supply chain, not just drivers.
Each takes 40 to 50 minutes, runs on a phone and costs $39 or $49 inc GST. They are awareness courses. None of them is a high risk work licence, a forklift or crane ticket, or an accredited unit, and they do not replace a site's own induction or a supervised assessment on the equipment.
