Every new starter needs the same first hour: how the WHS laws work, who holds duties, what their rights are, how to report a hazard and what a risk assessment actually is. Most businesses deliver that hour verbally on day one and have nothing to show for it afterwards.
These courses turn that hour into a record. An introduction to WHS and risk management for every starter, risk assessment and SWMS for the people who write them, PPE for everyone who is issued it, and site orientation for contractors, for workers arriving on a construction or mining site, and for anyone whose job involves high risk construction work. Each course names the instrument it is written against and the date it was checked. They are awareness courses with a certificate per person. None of them is a licence, a ticket or an accredited unit. They are not the White Card and not a high risk work licence, and none of them replaces the induction a site runs for its own hazards.
