Accreditation: This is a non-accredited awareness course only. It does not qualify or authorise you to act as a safety observer or spotter where legislation, a regulator or a network operator requires a trained and authorised person, for example, spotters for work near overhead electric lines are a formally regulated role in some jurisdictions with specific training requirements and directing crane loads is dogging work that requires a high-risk work licence. Site rules, verified competency and a documented briefing always decide who may spot. Never take on the role based on this course alone.
