What You Will Learn
Recognise the common injuries caused by hand and portable power tools and the WHS plant and PPE duties that apply
Select the right tool for a task and carry out a pre-use inspection, removing damaged tools from service
Use guarded power tools such as angle grinders, drills and saws safely, controlling kickback and entanglement
Apply electrical safety controls including RCDs, lead care and checking that portable equipment carries a current test tag
