What You Will Learn
Explain how work-related driving is managed as a workplace under WHS duties, and who holds those duties
Plan and manage a work journey so the risks are reduced before you set off
Recognise and remove driver distraction, including safe practice around mobile phones
Manage speed and fatigue: two of the biggest contributors to work-related crashes
Complete a basic pre-start vehicle check and adjust your driving for adverse conditions

Mobile workers who drive as part of their job, sales reps, community and health workers, trades and fleet or light-vehicle drivers and the supervisors and managers who plan their work.
Accreditation: This is a non-accredited awareness course. It builds safe-driving awareness for work but does not replace a current driver's licence, licensed or accredited driver training or any endorsement required for your vehicle class. It is not fatigue-management accreditation under the Heavy Vehicle National Law and does not authorise high-risk or heavy-vehicle work. Always follow your employer's driving policy and the road rules in your state or territory.
