Forklift and Powered Mobile Plant Safety Awareness
A practical, visual awareness course on staying safe around forklifts, order pickers, telehandlers and elevating work platforms. Learn how pedestrians and plant are kept apart, why loads tip over, how to refuel and charge safely and the special risks of working at height, through paced slides with diagrams, a real warehouse decision scenario and quick self-checks. This awareness training complements, but does not replace, the licence, verification of competency and site induction required to operate mobile plant.

What You Will Learn
Recognise the main types of powered mobile plant, forklifts, order pickers, telehandlers and elevating work platforms, and the serious hazards each creates
Explain why separating pedestrians from mobile plant is the most important traffic control, and identify practical separation measures
Describe how a forklift's stability triangle, load centre and data plate determine what it can safely carry
Identify the hazards of refuelling and charging LPG, diesel and battery-electric plant, and the precautions that control them
Outline the key risks of working from EWPs, order pickers and telehandlers, including falls, tip-overs and crushing

Who This Course Is For
Warehouse, logistics, construction, manufacturing and site workers who share a workplace with powered mobile plant, plus supervisors, pedestrians and new starters who need to understand the hazards around forklifts and EWPs.
Accreditation: This is a non-accredited awareness course. It builds general safety awareness only and is not a high-risk work (HRW) licence, a forklift licence (class LF or LO), an elevating work platform licence (class WP) or a verification of competency (VOC). It does not authorise you to operate any forklift, order picker, telehandler or EWP. Operating powered mobile plant requires the licence, training, VOC and site induction required in your state or territory.
