What You Will Learn

Who This Course Is For
Workers, supervisors and site managers who may be exposed to dusts, fumes, mists, gases or vapours, including construction, manufacturing, fabrication, spray painting, cleaning and maintenance and anyone who selects, issues or wears RPE.
Accreditation: This is a non-accredited awareness course. It builds general awareness of airborne hazards and respiratory protective equipment (RPE) and does not, on its own, make you a competent person to select RPE, conduct fit testing or authorise entry to confined spaces or atmospheres immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). Those tasks require additional competency-based training, supervision and health monitoring. RPE selection, use and maintenance must follow AS/NZS 1715, with devices complying with AS/NZS 1716.
