It is written against ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the current published edition (Edition 1, December 2023) and checked against the licensed Australian identical adoption AS ISO/IEC 42001:2023 (Standards Australia, published February 2024). It teaches structure and AI-specific requirements in original WorkProof words. It does not reproduce licensed standard text. Completing it does not certify you, does not certify your organisation and is not a substitute for reading the standard, for an audit by an accredited certification body or for your organisation's own AI policy, privacy, safety or professional duties. Certification to ISO/IEC 42001 is voluntary. The standard is not required by Australian law.
