  • Describe the DRSABCD action plan at an awareness level and where CPR fits within it
  • Explain the purpose of a workplace first aid needs assessment, first aid kits and trained first aiders under the first aid Code of Practice
  • Outline basic awareness-level response principles for common workplace injuries such as bleeding, burns, sprains and shock
  • Understand why this awareness course does not replace an accredited first aid course, and when accredited training is required
